ZILLA IS FASTEST STOCK MACHINE EVER
#1
I repeatedly read in every atv magazine that quads have never been faster. The new dirt wheels says in the late 80's nothing could keep up with the banshee. The raptor is hyped up as the most powerful atv ever built when it is heavier than the zilla and has 13 less horsepower STOCK. I hate raptors, they look neat and have decent power but I've watched a few fall aprt already. I only have two friends with raptors and they have both broke 2 a-arms trail riding! They never go riding cause they're always broke. Now one has a broken frame and the other has a bad tranny, these things are too new for that crap!! They only trail ride too. I've had two zillas and have raced every other high perf quad out there with them. When my 90 was stock it still beat DS650's, raptors, banshees, and cannndales. I love my zilla and will never part with it even though people accuse me of putting way too much money in the old dinosaur. These new four strokes are fun but they cant keep up with the old zilla, expecially when mods are done. Through the woods they might be ahead but when we get to a feild or road its all over for the four strokers. I like the new machines, and I'm expecially stoked about the Z400, but the magazines need to remember the old zilla and stop claiming these new atv's have more power and are faster than ever. Just my opinion! LIFE IS SHORT, RIDE HARD

Thanks but thats my old quad, my new one is even better! I just got a digital camera so I should have pics soon. My 90 zilla is immaculate with origional plastics and everything. I put a 44 mm carb on it with a K&N directly on the carb. It has a Delta V-Force II reed valve. .040 ART lightened piston, full race porting, head decked way down, will only run on 114 octane. Powervalve was ported extensaively and when it opens at 7000 its all over for the banshees!! It is insane and with 13/37 gearing which is higher than stock (13/41) it will pull a 5th gear wheelie on level road with no tug on the bars. I do a lot of blacktop racing and have broken a couple chains on the line. This things a beast and I can't wait to get my pics up!!

A local guy did mine. He does an excellant port job and has a flow bench. Its hard to find a good engine builder. I've heard horror stories about every single big famous engine builders such as trinity, ct, lrd, and expecially Tudors. I'd find a local shop with a flow bench to do the work. I've had great luck with V-Force reed valve, 44 mikuni, K&N right on carb, and LRD pipe, shave head and some port work and it will raise horsepower from 50 stock up to around 70, big diff. you will be amazed!! ALSO DON"T USE WEISECO PISTONS, I have seized 5 of them, they will not work with a big port job because of the way they are shaped, if u port it stay away from them, buy an ART or Suzuki

dang... guess I'm not getting my 'racer ported this summer... I know a guy with a Tri-Z that's got a shaved head and some porting and he uses Wiseco pistons and absolutely hates them! He's always going through them and claims no one makes pistons for his application...

Fast; your absolutely correct about Quadzilla!!!!! If Suzuki would only reintroduce the Zilla for those of us who didn't get a chance to ride it. They would make a killing. I'm O.K. with my Raptor, but when I really want to feel like a fighter-jet there's always the GSX-R750 waiting for me to climb aboard. Nothing runs like a Suzuki!!!!!!
