Last year I bought a 2001 Honda CBR 929 RR. It is insured through Farmers for $320 a year, full coverage. I know that sounds unbelievable, because I too was skeptic. A friend/co-worker had bought a 929 and he told me what the insurance cost was. I didn't believe him, so I called and asked myself. When they told me $320/year, I went and bought the bike. I just hope that you know how fast that bike is. Good Luck! And by the way, I'm a married 27 year old, clean record.

Don't have a Busa...but I have a 01 GSX-R750. Gixxers are awesome!!!! For the entire year I pay $284.76. I'm 29 & single. I think the Busa would cost a little more since insurance rates are rated by engine sizes. Love my Raptor, but Rockets...are just that!!!! It's your insurance company that your dealing with, because when I got the urge to shop around for a cheaper rate Progessive Insurance quote me:$3,400.00/yr.

Well from experience your quote is way to high. I am a 18 year old with a horriable driving record. I have been in two wrecks and have two speeding tickets, one of which was 128 in a 60. My insurance on a 600 katana was a little over 300 for the year. Who did you get your quote with. Try farmers or state farm, they are the lowest i have seen.

I think that you should build a quad powered by a Hayabusa or GSXR 1000 engine!

Does anyone know if "Farmer's" is pretty fussy who they insure or not? I can't get State Farm to insure a 600 because of my record and the fact it's a "performance" bike. Also, the cheapest I've found is $171 a month, which is more than my T-Bird, for Krist's sake.....Thanks.....
