I was surfin around LRD's site and see they offer a 44mm Mikuni roundslide carb, and it says "For max hp and Sand Drag applications (87 big reed) use our 44mm Round slide Mikuni carb. This will add 2hp above the 41mm PWK." Does any one know what type of mileage a carb like this would get? I imagine its a 2hp gain on top-end, but if I decide to run their adjustable pipe, well, I guess I could get all the top-end I need for around here. Does anyone suppose the big 44mm would lower the bottom-midrange power over a 39mm PWK?........Also, with the adjustable pipe, if you did adjust it for a different "hit" in the rpm range, would you hafta change jetting, too? Thanks in advance................

There's been a slight change in motor plans........My friend, who happens to weigh a good 120 pounds less than me, just bored his Raptor .020 over, shaved and ported the head, swapped the cam, and added a CT exhaust and dual K&N's (no airbox), so I gotta be sure he's still no challenge........But I still wanna be able to trail ride with him!!
