I didn't know Yosh already had a pipe for the Z400. I haven't seen any aftermarket parts for the "Z" anywhere.

Grady, the engine is nearly identical to that of the DRZ400 dirtbike, so I'd think that aftermarket parts mfg's only need to bend their current pipes to fit the quad, not reengineer all new pipes... this means that all the other goodies should be out pretty soon, instead of the usual couple of months that we wait for the performance parts to hit the market.

The Yoshimura pipe is sold through Suzuki as an option on the LT400Z. Same type deal that Yamaha offers for the Raptor with the GYTR pipe.

Your dealer doesn't need any "connections" other than being a Suzuki dealer.

Nobody has a clue yet, since no one here's ridden one. It'll probably handle a lot like a 400EX since they appear to have copied it's chassis... Unless they really screwed up somewhere - only time will tell.

Yoshimura has parts from big bore kits to triple clamps. Check with your local dealer, they should have the newest Yoshimura ctatlogue
