Why is the cylinder blue? Is it possible to remove the blue and polish the cylinder or give it a brushed look?

Throw some good paint remover on it a couple of times to remove it then get it polished for the chrome look.

Aircraft Brand Paint Remover. It is the BEST paint stripper I have ever used. Two apps and the paint is history. I got it at my local Advance Auto Parts. I used it on my 88 LT250R cylinder and it worked great.

Looked at the pictures on your site. IS the cylinder polished in the engine pics. I guess I was hopeing to be able to polish it like the side covers.
