Does anybody know any guidlines
as to what compression requires
what octane gas.

example:

180 psi requires what octane?
200 psi requires what octane?
etc.

I have a 88LT250quadracer umm... I run half turbo blue race gas mixed with premium gas. I think the turbo blue is 112 octane. The oil I use is golden spectro. My machine has 180 pounds on the commpression test. I have ran just premium gas before when I can't get ahold of turbo blue. My machine ran so rich I had to rejet the carb. This is just what I do I'm sure there are people who risk it with regular gas. Hope the helps.

Here's what I pulled from the Powroll web site (www.powroll.com)

Fuel. Premium pump fuel can be used on engines up to 10.75:1 compression. 11:1 – 12:1 compression engines need ½ premium pump fuel, and ½ race fuel (NOT AVIATION GAS!). Compression higher than 12:1 requires straight race gas, at least 108 octane. These octane rating requirements must be met at all times, not just during engine break-in.

Hope this helps.

I just bught 5 gallons of turbo blue, saturday afternoon. It cost $4.00 a gallon. I run straight turbo blue with klotz techniplate at 32:1 ratio. I can run premium pump gas but why take a chance, and your quad will run alot better and more consistant.

AV gas is dry, if you use it you will need to add some oil to it like marvel mystery oil. Not alot though, mix it at about 200:1

On jap motorcycles (inline fours) approaching 200 hp per liter you can run up to 13.5:1 compression ratio on 93 octane pump gas, even in a hot Florida summer. Quad's seem to be in a slightly lower state of tune.
