Did anyone read the article on the Suzuki DRZ400 in the May 2002 issue of Dirt Bike? Apparently a company make an automatic conversion clutch for about $1,000 for this bike. I was wondering if this might work on the engine going into the new Z400 quad.

Although I don't want this for myself, it would work well when friends ride who can't handle a clutch well or can't keep up on a fully automatic 4X4 Kodiak due to the suspension.

Thanks,

NotuRaptor

I think it will work in the quad. The clutch is a rev-loc and they make it for alot of bikes now from what I have seen! There site is www.revloc.com

250EXRiderJamie Do yourself a favor and just work on it. Mastery of the clutch is not that difficult, it just takes practice. Dont be afraid to learn. My 10 year old son just started riding with a manual clutch a few months back and he hasnt had that much seat time to practice but he's already shifting pretty well. Dont skip over buying a sport machine because of the manual clutch. It's well worth the effort to learn it.

Ditto..

once you ride a clutch for awhile, you'll never go back
