Do you think that Suzuki would take the Ozark, and make it a sportier four wheeler like what honda did with the Recon and 250ex? I rode a 250ex just the other day, and them things are awesome. I think it would be wise on Suzuki's part to do so... that way they can have more sport four wheelers and inturn get more buyers, cause them 250ex's are kinda popular with beginners.

Yes. Supposedly that's the next Quad that they're making. They'll probably make it look like a mini Quadsport Z400. I forgot who but somebody came on this board a while ago saying that it will be coming out soon.

i would much rather have suzuki use the drz250 motor in a small sportquad. also, wouldn't it be awesome if suzuki made a big sport quad using the sv650 motor?

Ultimate Suzuki quad: Hayabusa engine in factory sand dragster.

Limited production, paddle tires from the factory and chrome as far as the eyes can see...

Suzuki is on a roll! I think the Ozark may already be nearly as fast as the 250ex already! It will definitely outrun a Recon as is. If Suzuki gave it the sport treatment like Honda did the Recon, I'm sure it would whup the 250ex. Don't get me wrong I love Hondas too, but Suzuki seems to be coming back strong. I do think good things are in store for us atv nuts in the future! Aint competition great?

the ozark motor is basically the old quadrunner 250 motor with a new bottom end, i would much rather see a new small sport quad use even the old quadsport 230/250 motor over the ozark motor.

The Ozark motor looks very similar to the 80's LT230 motor, same head style, bolt location etc. I just put my 86 LT230 motor back together and back in the frame and after looking my Ozark over pretty good, they look quite similar. Any Suzuki parts guys or mechanics out there know if the Ozark motor is a relative of the old Quadsport 230-250? Looks to me like it could be, but I'm a Ford parts man and don't know Suzuki well, yet. But I do know the one guy that always knows is a parts man, he can't be wrong!

Sounds interesting. I never understood why Suzuki switched from those original 250 Quadrunner motors to the style they used in the 4wd & KingQuads. Those old 250s had far more juice than motors that replaced them. They also made a 300 version of that motor in a Quadrunner LT 300. Put a updated version of that 300 in a Ozark add 4wd keep it light and simple and can you say best-seller!

in either dirtwheels or atv action(can't remember which) they said the ozark uses the quadrunner 250 cylinder and head wiht a different bottom end and different carb and exhaust.
