My 87 LT250R has new bearings, front and rear, new swing arm bearings, bushings, and bolt, all new ball joints, and is mostly stock. I've set toe by the book. It is treacherous to ride. It appears that as the suspension travels up and down, the toe changes drastically and the quad darts either left or right (which ever suits it at the time). The front wheels are turned with the offset 'out' making the front very wide. Any other quads that I have owned were very predictable to drive. Any one have any ideas. Also, one side reads positive camber, the other negative. Does anyone know of specs for this, and any way to adjust it besides bending the mounting points.

Thanks,
Ron

As far as I know, the LT250R doesn't have adjustable camber. So if you have one front wheel with negative camber, it sounds like something (frame?) is bent. That would probably account for the unpredictable handling.
