need help with zilla

i just got a 89 zilla 500 my problem is i went to check the oil and some metal shavings are in the oil, so i remove the left side case to find the the nut that holds the gaers to the crankshaft stripped. what do you think should i do.

go find whoever sold it to you and put a whooppin on them.or you can get it repaired after the whooping and enjoy life throwing roost as you please.

The crankshaft nut? It is left-hand threaded and someone probably spun it trying to take it off like a standard nut. Are the crank threads ruined?

it looks like the nut back off and just spun wearing out the threads. just the beginning of the threads are mess up. not like some one tryed to take it off the wrong way
