Checking Oil on Eiger
#1
I'm sure this sounds stupid, but I'm not sure where the dipstick is on my new Eiger. With all the plastic around the motor it is hard to tell where it is (plus, its pouring down rain). Normally I would just check the manual (and not display my stupidity) but I can't find it and I have a big ride this weekend. Eiger owners please help.

Ummm, OK. There is a triangle shaped small plastic panel about ankle high on the left side above the floorboards. It has an indentation in the front so that you can insert your finger and pull it off. Dipstick is behind this panel.

Wolly
Hey, thanks! I knew it had to be something simple like that but I was tired, it was late and raining, and my machine was muddy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Your signature is right, the Eiger is an incredible machine for the money. How do you like the auto on it? Does it get blown away pretty easily by the 650? How does the ride compare? I'm very happy with my choice for what I could spend, it's just that I view the 650 as the ultimate machine and I was just curious how much of a step up it was. Thanks again!
