Z400's bottom end power question?

<< Yea and about the 900.00 bucks you got on the Raptor you better invest more because Suzuki has been out of the game to long and every quad you see out there is going to smoke you they had more time to modify. >>
Yamaha have been a bit farther out of the sport quad game than Suzuki. The last time they even touched their sport quad line before the craptor was when they tossed the J-arms on the 'shee. Suzuki updated the rear suspension of the LT250R in '91, and that means that Yamaha have been out of the game longer, buddy! The Z engine is proven from the DRZ, and the LTZ has definitely been tested through and through, unlike the Raptor, which they rushed to steal hype from the Bomb. Time to modify? Are you serious? You could just work faster... lol
<< 900 bucks let me guess your going to buy a pipe and a cam right? ride a RAPTOR with a cam and pipe see ya later suzuki boy. >>
Ughhhhh! You must have mittens pinned to your jacket 365 days a year! Can't you understand that with $900 in mods on a raptor you've invested a total of $1800 more than a stock Z400? Now the Z400 has $1800 in aftermarket modifications. Bye bye, you stupid dinosaur!
And yes, a 400 can go faster than a 660. There is no limit to what can be done, this isn't a video game, kid! There is always something to stay ahead of the game. The 660 guy is never going to have everything that you could possibly do! If he's got a pipe, I've got a pipe and carb! If he's got a pipe and carb, I've got a pipe, carb and cam!
Are you starting to see yet or should I go on?

I should add that I really don't mean any disrespect to the Raptor, or Banshee or TRX250R, or anything else because I respect a lot of the people who ride those bikes that post here... It's just that if you bash you get bashed.

3Sportsman, why don't you give it a rest? Do you even HAVE a Raptor? I try my best not to bash people on here, sometimes I still let a few slip, but you've been in on almost every post I've read so far. Get off your high horse, nobody cares about you or your quad, K?
The way I look at it, If I was a Yamaha fan (which I am not), I would justify the higher cost for the gain in power, but I don't really like the Raptor. IMHO, It is just not as easy on the eyes as it needs to be. But, That is just me, those are the reasons I choose the suzuki. I am a suzuki fan, and like the way they look alittle better. Plus, I like the fact that its cheaper, too.

i raced my buddies 02 ex tonight...i left him behind noticably. the top speeds are not too much different though..i was only pulling a tiny bit...it took him a long time to get to his max while i was there in no time. who ever said that the z had no bottom end. and that the ex has more. i think that is BS. i can lean back and pull a wheelie in third on my Z. but when i got on my buddies ex. i had to lean back in second gear to get the wheels to come up. on my z i have a hard time keeping the front end down when i am in first and second gear. racing from a dead start is tough on a road cuz all i did was pull wheelies.
