Glad the Z is finally arrived for the lucky ones that have bought one,and alot has been talked about with mods by Yoshimura, and some others,BUT,We need to remember that it was TC RACING (Tom Carlson) that has had Doug Gust winning National races on the Walsh/TC Z-440 all last season and doing well this season. So you want tried and trued performance, the choice is obvious who exactly has had the most expierience with a fast Z motor. lt80, you might want to look into who supplied Tom with the new cams and cdi box for this season's z440. i'm not trying to take away from Tom at all, i think he is a great tuner, but if i had the privledge of owning a z400 then i would go with yoshimura, they supplied all the motor work for Mike K's gncc ride and that bike easily pulls on wr426's.

I agree, Yoshimura is the place to go when you have a suzuki 400! They work magic on that motor.
