Yeah, i'd go with around 60 to 65. I have a stock cr250 that was running around 72mph (according to a friends street bike), but i'm not sure how accurate it was. I am wondering about the factory rm250 that was clocked above 100,,,,,,,is it geared to the moon? Two stroke 500's arent even that fast on top without some gearing help.

yes it is gear very very high, now for the reason, with all the power it has it is rediclious to keep the frount end down, it had too much power down low, even with my gearing now i can still get wheelies just by hiting the gas in 3rd-4th, 1st gear is out-only if you have a death wish,(with the lower gearing), now i can ride the thing on long rides in the woods, and be cruzing in 5th, at 40, pin it and it still gets up and goes, i dont have to shift as much which i really like on long rides, the previous owner clocked it past( your speed is sign") and had 91 with stock gearing, my brother told me after i regeared, and he first saw/rode it he said you should put lower gearing on it, and i said i dont want to kill myself, then he rode it and understood
