Just witnessed the commercial of the new LTZ400. Looks like there were (2) LTZ400s being dropped from a plane in the desert. Pretty damn awesome for me. Looks great on t.v., but I haven't seen them in person. Great job Suzuki for picking up the ball & setting the standard for 400cc fourstrokes. Honestly...I'm still waiting for something as wicked as the LT500...until then, I'll stick to my Raptor!!!!!! By the way...02 Raptors can be purchased for $5799.00 OTD, in my neighborhood so that makes the deal sweet. Positive feedbacks are welcomed. Others need to return to the sandbox.

I absolutely hate the new Z. Talk about a bunch of copy cats/poor engineering! Raptor plastic, 400ex rims/frame geometry. Still has the crappy swing arm of the LT's. Airfilter is a joke, and now the axles!? I was loyal to Suzuki from 1980 to 1991.....but I'll never own one now. That thing just turns me off bad! I was really excited until I saw one. And they wussed out on the engine....screw the Jap bikes, I'm staying with my American made quad!

hey jcv400ex you talk like the 400ex was such an innovative quad but its not. Did you forget where the motor came from? Or the frame geometry? Or the tires and wheels? etc., etc., etc.
Honda is just as guilty as Suzuki for taking a well proven design and reusing it!
If my memory serves me correctly the cannondales were not with out their faults and problems the first year they were out.

Copying the best of other companys offerings to make a great quad? Sounds pretty smart to me, thats why I bought one
Actually I bought a Kawasaki KFX400 which is a complete copy of the Z400...better yet, its a green Z400 (Green with envy). I guess I just like copy cats.

Dessertfreak,
I don't need your 2 cents....cuz it didn't make sense. Honda used the 250r for a base for the 400ex. So how is that in anyway remotely close to what Suzuki did?????? Unless you mean the poorly designed swing-arm....
