I picked up my Zilla motor from Tudors the other day.
They had it done and ready, as they said it would be on the 25th.(a month)
It looked great, the cylinder and head were sandblasted and repainted...
I could look into the exhaust and see the polish. looked great.

I installed it today, and she started right up and runs and sound GREAT.
This is just an update on my posts about tudors performance about a month ago.
Jeff was very nice, and seemed very knowledgable.
Anyway, the motor looks, runs and sounds absolutely awesome.
(still EARLY in the break in period of course)

Yes, they work on the 250 also.

A couple of other things about Tudors...
The head gasket they produce and use is re-usable.
Im not sure of the material, but I believe it is copper.
Also, the base gasket they make and use is made of spring steel, and is un-blowable.
Jeff showed me all this stuff when I dropped my motor off.
They were very organized and clean. (the shop/tools)
He also showed me a few examples of the Zilla cases they have repaired and were assembling. They looked great.
Anyway, check them out.

ps. Absolutely no affiliation whatsoever with Tudors.

They did a complete rebuild on my 500 including:

Machine the cases and install the copper insert and new Koyo main bearings (perm fix)
New forged piston kit, bore & hone cylinder, stage 2 port and polish, true the crank,
new oil seals, the kit included their copper re-usable head gasket and their spring steel no-blow base gasket. They also sandblasted and repainted the cylinder and head.
the total was 980.00 and it runs like a top.

Well shoot!,350x in your opinion is Jeff Tudor's performance a trustworthy builder???I read his ad on the web and even talked to him last year, just can't bring myself to just send it to anyone I don't know. After I told him what had been done to my engine so far and the time's it run's he said he could get me on alky running in the high 3's wich is ignorant fast for a Zilla,I just don't know.
