I find that I need more speed and a taller gear for 2nd so that I can climb the hills better. Because right now 2nd gear just revs out and spins to much and 3rd gear is to fast. I was wondering if 2" taller tires would give me much more speed than my stock tires(20&quot? I'm very confident the Z has enough power to pull the 22" no problem. I was thinking about the Holeshot XCR's, I think they are called that anyway?

OR

Would I be better off to get a different size sprocket? I'm thinking that a sprocket is a better idea because I get more speed and I get to keep my tire weight down. How much do sprockets cost?

What does everyone think? Thanks allot.

Thats a popular question. I hope this help's Larger front sprocket= more top speed, less acceleration. Smaller rear sprocket= less acceleration, more top speed. Taller rear tire= more top speed
To get the gear ratio, divide the number of teeth on your rear sprocket by the number of teeth on the front.
Taller ratios mean more top speed, less acceleration, smaller numerically.
