is there any way to make my quadrunner 250 start in gear without shifting to neutral?

Here's the link that will tell you how to do it to a King Quad. I'm betting it's the same for a 250. I've owned both bikes and they are almost identical.

so i cut the two yellow wires and splice them together annd leave them hanging there?
