When that special time comes I want to get rid of that parking brake and perch assembly. I want to get an on the fly adjustment and shorty levers for both sides. My question is the wiring that is attached to the current clutch/parking brake assembly. How will I go about putting the new stuff on? And in order to start the bike you have to pull in the clutch, is that going to be a problem with the new perches. I would feel really stupid if I have to take bars and a perch to the shop to get installed.

Has anybody put different bars and perches on yet?

Any help would be great.

I am going to take the Renthals and quick adjust perch off my 400ex and see how it works. I might go ahead and yank the parking brake off too. I might be this weekend.

You will probably have to disconect the swich that is on the stock lever, follow it down to where it can be disconnected. Now it will probably start with out the clutch pulled in, in any gear. You will have to make sure you are in neutral or always have the clutch pulled in when you start it. I did this on my old quad(2001 Warrior).
