Ok, I'm very new to the Suzuki side of things. I just bought a 89 LT250R which is being set up for racing. I was wondering where I can get a full blown race porting job. I got 2 cylinders so one is getting donated to the cause. Also I got a FMF Goldseries pipe with it. I was wondering how good this pipe really is, and should I be looking for a better one?

I have a 91 and a 86 quad racer the 91 has a paul turner pipe and silencer and the 86 has the fmf. I like the Paul Turner one better. I would either send the cylinder to LRD or Duncan Racing. Both do awesome porting work. To get the most out of the engine ask who ever does the porting which pipe they recommend. LRD & Paul Turner both sell kits that come with pipes, rad valves, carb mods, so on to match their porting.

There are numerous others like Trinity, CT racing, & curtis sparks. If you what more choices I would either search the web or buy a ATV magizine like Dirtwheels, Atv sport, 4 wheel action etc... and look at the ads.

Duncan's website: http://www.duncanracing.com/
LRD's website: http://www.lrdperformance.com/
