I'm not sure how the DS compares to the big 4x4 quads in width but they do fine down there. I use to have a big Polaris that I rode and it got around fine. People have ridden 3 wheelers down there before but I haven't so I couldn't really say on that. I had a 350X back when they were new that I raced and I took it everywhere so I would assume you would be OK with it as long as you could keep the frontend down when your climbing out of the bottoms.
