best top end pipes for z?

what pipe does offers the best top end peformance on the z? price? does it need rejetting w/ an aftermarket filter?

Every pipe will need to be rejetted. So far Trinity has the best number gain and only $439. Check out the dyno sheets on my link.

what is the elevation where you live and what size jet did you use?

We are sea level to 1000ft. The 165 main is the weapon of choice.

did you use an aftermarket filter and airbox mods? did you have to rejet the pilot too?

Stock filter and box with the factory pilot. My bottom end has not one bit of hesitation.

I just in stalled a Trinity system on a friends Z400 and it has a small bog when getting on the gas. I was wondering how can I get this to stop. I put the 165 main in it . removed the lid if anything eles I should havedone that I missed?

Did you change the spacer on the needle? Put the one from the top onto the bottom and that will give you better throttle response.

We didn't move the spacer, but we did put the lid back on and the bike runs fine. But how do you get to the needle. I don't want to break his bike but I do want to get it running correctly. Thanks for the help.
