Warrior86?
Your last post was about the funniest thing I have read in a long time.
You bought the slowest worst handling quad to ever carry the badge "SPORT" and think I got hosed when I bought the Z?
LMAO
My Z has no bends, I'd guess It never will untill I crash it.
There is a huge spotlight on these quads because people love them, the owners, testers, any one who has ever ridden one.
Basically everyone that currently owns a differant sport quad, is hoping and praying the Z is not as great as the owners and testers say they are.
Guess what, they are that good.
Hold more faith in what you actually experiance.
A forum is nothing more then a bunch of people that know how to type talking to each other.
I need to check it out when I get home tonight, but one reply in another "bent frame" post said there is a bend designed into one side of the sub frame from the factory.

All the Sport Machines have slight Advantages and Disadvantages over each other.
DS: Well built and a Rotax 650 4STROKE
Raptor: Slightly better handling then the DS and lots of aftermarket hop ups
Cannondale: If you are willing to spend the $$$-The best MX handling and best stock power to weight ratio
Z400: Triple threat, Power-Handling-Cost
A couple years ago I almost bought the Raptor. The posts on it had bending axles, bending a arms, carbs popping off, trannys blowing 2nd gear, engines stalling while riding wheelies, and lots of others. The only thing that actually was a problem was the tranny, and that one showed up in the posts in the first couple weeks.
I've had one actual problem in almost 3 months of use, the rear brake switch spring came loose, fixed it with one squeeze from a pair of pliers.

LOL warrior 86, not as sorry as we are for u. n e way. couldnt agree more mega, right now the only quad i would take over the z for the woods is the blaze, but i'm starting to hear the maintanence is on par with a banshee, n e way they still roll, i guess tc will get ahold of my motor, walsh my frame, elka my shocks, diamond my a-arms and then i'll get ahold of one of them blaze's. no matter how u look at it, pro production is gonna be the only class soon. give it time. bye bye 250r.

megacrash!+ sheers...well lets get something straight here. YOur trying to say that i basically have no right to criticize anything because look what i got-a warrior-so my insight isnt worthy of being discussed here?! Well ok. I have a warrior, and i had a raptor that i sold about 3 months ago.
First of all, i wasnt trying to flame anyone or anything, i was trying to sum up my take on this whole matter cause i was considering purchasing one. but since u felt the need to bash my warrior....
My warrior, AKA:bad excuse for a sport bike is 4 years old, been through a lot of hard hits, been rolled, and the frame is a straight as the day i got it along with everything else.
megacrash-"You bought the slowest worst handling quad to ever carry the badge "SPORT" and think I got hosed when I bought the Z?" Well i dont think u got hosed for the buying the z in general, but some of u did get hosed if u consider the fact that a z while its got a bent frame and a- arms isnt going to b a better handler than a warrior when its working fine.
Sounds a little immature to bring up MY quad and its PERformance shortcomings when this thread is about the Z and its possible chassis shortcomings. Its not as if i brought mine up to say it was better performer. Your comparing apples and oranges here pal. This thread isnt entitled "the z sucks" or anything like that. The fact that my warrior doesnt handle well is irrelevant in this discussion!
the Z seems to be a little cheesy in the chassis department and all i did was make that observation.
Considering im not rich, nor a pro mxer, id much rather have a wheeler that i can ride as hard as i want without my fun costing me more money to replace bent parts than having a quad that turns with less work and accelerates faster but get paranoid about something bending every time i hit a pebble (big exageration, yea i know)
All i ever mighta said is that my warrior seems to be built stronger and it does!
I never posted on this thread to bash other people's atvs. And i said i felt sorry for the guys having the problems because there are people out there that just forked over alot of money for a quad that they cant use now! so dont feel sorry for me, im enjoying my riding every day. Theres much more i can say about this but its late and im tired.
