Hey guys i am new to the forum, bought a new Z about 2 weeks ago and i noticed my rear brake sqeaks now, i think i left the brake lock on thoguh and road for a sec... my dumb *** forgot to unlock it. Now how do i fix this ? New to the quad scene the z is my first ride, and dam this sucker is fast.

alot of people have the same problem with their Zs. I think it warps once you get it hot cuz it's not ventilated.

 

just let it squeak, save your money and buy a vented rotor when the original absolutely needs to be replaced.

If it really embarasses you, ride with a Raptor, their suspension squeaks like crazy. heh heh

 

Mine squeaked also , it was warped so I bought a aftermarket vented 400EX rotor and replaced the stock one, cost me about $50.00 plus shipping. no more squeak and I have run it at the Dunes this weekend which added up to a few hours and still no squeaking.

I hate to say it, but when I noticed my rear brake squeeking.....it turned out to be a bent axle. My dealer had Suzuki cover it under warranty. Had the axle fixed and we're up and runnin' with the dogs again. If I were you, before spending money on some aftermarket rotor, check the axle REAL closely. When I checked mine, it looked like the rotor was warped...but it was actually the AXLE. CHECK IT!!!
