whats up guy's
my buddy just picked up a totaly stock 85lt. it has blue rims on it..
the guy he got it from told him they were stock!!! are they??
they look stock and say (D.I.D. japan) on them i'm not sure....
or did they come on maybe a quadsport or quadrunner??? anyway i'm not sure soooooo any input would be great....

they could be painted, powder coated or annodized, there's companies out there that'll do that to stuck stuff if you want to.

 

no d.i.d makes colored rims so there not stock

but they do look cool.....

 

D.I.D. made the stock rims for the quadracer. My 86 had gold color steel rims and the 91 had aluminum D.I.D. rims on it. So the 85 would have had steel rims on it. They could have been blue, but I would think they would have been gold. Anyway they might be painted factory rims.

 

THANKS , my other buddy has a 86 and it has the gold alum rims on it and they are stock..(thats what came with the bike) i really don't belive that there is anything different between 85-86. as far as the blue rims they are alum not painted but annodized.. the same as my buddy's 86...(but his are gold) i have a 92 and have the silver alum on it. maybe they came off a suzuki with the same bolt patt. i don't know i like them because you don't see too many rims like that....
