Any good? Are you nutz? This could be considered one of the best Quads ever built. Yes they do go real fast in a straight line but they also can do much more. If have seen these machines completely dominate the flat track and TT races. As far a stock hill climbers go you won't anything that has the rip a$$ power of the LT500 to tear up a hill with. They are a little large for real nimble woods work and MX with some mods you can change that as well.

No it's not too big. It is also about a 1.5" wider. You also have to remember if the wheels are not stock it could be up to 3 or 4 inches wider. If that is not a problem then you should love it. I hate to buy from out of state becauce it is so hard to look everything over real god and think about your purchase. The stupid thought of " I drove all the way here might as well buy it " starts to creep into your head.

Picture riding a DS with the top-end hit of a Shee and the low-end of, well, a big 4-stroke, and that's kinda what it's like........As long as you can do the maintainance that the 500 needs, it should make an awesome, reliable quad.......If it's been rebuilt recently and stuff (crank bearing inserts, rear axle bearings, susp. bearings), you should be all set....I say get it.....
