Gas Gauge on Ozark

Most atvs on the market today do not have any sort of gas guage, especially the entry level machines. Your best bet would be to get the speedodmeter and learn how far you can go on a tank full and guage from there.

The reason that you don't see them on an atv is because of the odd shapes of the gas tanks. Lawnmowers generally have square or rectangular shaped gas tanks that allow the float type gas gauges. The Kawasaki Praire 650 has an electronic fuel guage, but its gas tank is under the seat. Not sure of its shape though.

Yeah hadn't really thought about that. I know motorcyles because of the frame had a wrap around gas tank. A float wouldn't work on that type of tank. Hadn't look into the tank of the Zark. All I would care about measuring is not necsarrily empty, but at the point it is near empty or close to reserve. Sort of a rough guild if you will. Need to think about this one a while. Got to be a way.... Perhaps a float from the bottom of the tank, instead of on the cap. I'll have to check my Bayou 4X4, it has a gauge.
