Hey guys, a friend of mine has a Z and his fan isn't working. I made sure all wires are connected and the fuse by the battery is ok, so I don't know what else is there? Only mods is a Trinity pipe and jets.

 

I would say take it back to the dealer.

is he overheating or is the fan just not coming on? the fan won't come on until the temp reaches 190F.

 

I ride mine hard on technical trails all the time and the fan rarely comes on....unless I stall it 2 or 3 times in a row.

 

He rides mx mostly, but he just got the bike and it is his first quad. So I think that he's not pushing it hard enough. I put the Trinity pipe on it and it is jetted right cause the color is a nice brown, a little darker than a cardboard box. But thanks guys.

Mine has come on numerous times, but I am in FL and it is summertime. It doesn't kick on until I have stopped and kicks back off soon after we get riding again. Can't hear it very well but I feel the hotter air blowing back on my legs. Take it back to the dealer and let them check it out. Four weeks Saturday, and I'm still smiling about my Z!
