I replaced the bearings in my 86 lt, and i will try to give you a run through. First take off both tires and the left hub (chain side, then take off the rear brake caliper. Next loosen the axle nuts as well as the sprocket bolts, they both will probably be hard to remove . Once you get them off, take out the four allen bolts and from the back of the swingarm. Now your bearing housing should be free. You are now ready to slide the axle and the bearing housing out of the swingarm. The rear sprocket should be off of the splines and then it will slide off of the axle. Now that you have the axle off of the quad give the bearing housing a few taps to get it off of the axle. Now you are ready to take out the old bearings. Remove the dust seal and then take out the old bearings. You should buy new bearings that are sealed because their are no grease zerks on an 86 so you cannot grease them. You also need new dust seals. To install the new bearings I took a big socket that was the same size as the bearings and tapped them in place, don't forget the spacer in between the bearings. Then install the dust seals and put it all back togeather. Hope this helps
