i have a 92 lt 250 abnd wnt to raise the clinder enough to push the base gasket in a little bit and then reassa,mble but what im wondering is is there any sort of linkage going to the bottom end of the motor from the powervalve more or lesse can i raise th cylinder without worrying about anything

 

why do you need to push the base gasket in?
yes there is a linkage between the powervalve and the bottom end... it is located on the right side of the engine. obviously you haven't done a top end on it or you'd know. where's your manual? you might want to study it or get one if you don't have one.
