Just out of curiosity.... How much $$$$ will you have invested (Not counting the original purchase of the bike) to break the 50HP mark?

I'm surprised that the C'dales would even come close if you're pushing those types of results.
(I rode a 440 Moto at the dunes, and was less than impressed other than it handled the big bumps really well) (Definately not for $12K)

There is no other riding except in the dunes...

They have more top end with my stock cams. It will be around $2000 I guess, but I have sponsorships and don't know the exact price. E-mail Harry for the prices or call them.

LuckyS: Yes, I rode a Moto at the dunes... The dealer was demo-ing the machine... Had sand sharks on it... I'm glad to hear that this thing wasn't intended for the dunes!
It felt really high geared. It revved pretty good for a 4 stroker, but it wouldn't pull my big fatt butt to the top of the big dunes. I got really chewed up by the raptors.

As far as cactus flats is concerned - you don't really need an adventure pass. Our california constitution guarantees us the right to put up a claim for gold mining. Just tell the rangers you are surveying the land for a possible claim. I've used that excuse in the tahoe mountans.. One time they asked where my tools were, and that my ATC wasn't really suited for that kind of work. I just told them I was surveying, no problem..

Did you know you don't need a fishing license either? Check out article 16... No fishing license required....
