yea i was bout to say if u actually saw a stock Z and a stock 400EX walk allover an LT250R then ur smokin crack or were ridin a very messed up untuned LT250R.....just my 2cents....

frame geometry has nothing to do with top speed... i'm talkin drag racing here. we all know the R is faster than the LT on the track. i still say the LT will take a Z no problem in a drag.

well stock for stock my friends 89 LT250R can NOT beat my Z.. he has had his LT since it was bought new in 89, it looks like it just rolled off the show room floor just yesterday. the only things aren't stock are the UNI air filter and ITP holeshots he just put on bcuz his stock tires finally were too wore to ride on anymore.. it doesn't matter who is on which quad, my Z always beats takes the LT.. its not like the Z kills the LT but it does come out on top by a bike or two each time..and i haven't touched the Z yet i'm wait'n for sparks to get thier pipe out and i'm also gonna get a proflow airfilter..

Both the LT and the Honda R have less horsepower at the rear wheels than a stock Z400. When piped they have about 6 more horsepower than the Z if they are jetted correctly. A stock Z400 will outrun a stock Banshee unless your on pavement and running them all the way to topend.

I was talking about racing on a track but the frame geometry does have quit a bit to do with a drag race, if you can not get the power down what good is power? Now the slight dif in the 3 quads mentiond does not play a roll in top speed or drag but unless you ride on a street you will sooner or later hit a bump or have to turn. If you have no bumps or turns then what is the use of riding a quad? buy a dragster.

My freind had a 1992 lt250, fmf pipe, boysen reeds, otherwise stock and tuned correctly. I could smoke him in every instance(low mid top) with my 2001 Raptor. I am not cutting suzuki here. I own 2 lt500`s right now. I sold my raptor for one. The lt250 is a good quad. For the money you cant beat them. The hondas are over priced. Unless your into MX, buy the suzuki.

I HAVE A Z400 AND A 250 QUADRACER. THE QUADRACER IS MODED BUT NOT THAT MUCH. THE QUADRACER SHOWS ITS AGE IN LOOKS BUT IT OUT HANDLES AND WILL BLOW THE Z AWAY. ONLY ADAVANTAGE THE Z HAS IT PULLS OUT OF CORNERS A LITTLE BETTER BECAUSE ITS A 4 STROKE. BUT IN TURNS THE RACER WILL EAT IT UP. I AM NOW MAKING THE RACER MY PROJECT HOT ROD AND RACER. THE Z IS MY FUN RIDING QUAD. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM. I WILL NEVER SELL MY QUADRACER THOUGH.

theres no way an LT handles better than a Z. the LT has way more bumpsteer than the z

I don't know if some of these guys know what good handling is or what, but the Z is better by a lot and if you can't tell the difference.......you don't ride enough to know the difference.
