Why Exactly is the King Quad 300 4x4 more than the Eiger 400 4x4. I know the King has a super low, low and High Gear and Front DIff LOck. Oh i forgot Independent Rear suspension too! But it looks like they would but Independent rear suspension on the Eiger. I have heard from alot of people say that the Eiger rides very good and is comfortable. But why dont they put some qualities of the King on the larger displacement ATVS???

To tell you the truth,
I like my Eiger the way it is,i rode a few independant rear suspension quads that rode very nice, but the Eiger is not un comfortable to ride, i rode it all day and part of the night last week and could have rode it all night and the next day without a complaint about anything.if they start putting more stuff on the Eiger, i.e. independant rear suspension, super low gears (low range is low enough) you would pay alot more for it.

Suzuki dropped the King Quad from their lineup for 2003. At the time it was introduced in the early 90's it was the king and time just passed it by. I love mine, it's been very reliable and has taken a bunch of abuse. My wishlist would be to put a bigger motor in it and longer suspension travel. I still have hope that Suzuki will come out with a big bore with independent suspension. I've rarely need the locking front end except a few times during the winter.

I can't say anything bad about the Eiger. I've tested them against a 400cc Kodiak and I think they accelerate a lot faster. I've ridden Eigers and I could quickly tell that they're put together really well.

I have a 250 quadrunner (small King Quad) and it is no where the bike that the Eiger is. I'll give it the front locker, but that is it. The Eiger has enough power to not need it. And as far as the independent rear its a swing arm not a a-arm. The tires change camber while riding which is a real bear to trail ride with. Also there is not enough travel to make the independent useful.
