WORD OF ADVISE SEND IT TO A REPUTALE HOP UP SHOP!!!! I MADE THE MISTAKE IF LETTING A DEALER CLOSE BY BRAG ON HIS MECHANIC. HE SAID HE WAS REALLY GOOD AT IT AND KNOWED WHAT HE WAS DOING. WHEN I GOT MY CYLINDER BACK IT HAD BEEN DROPED AND BEEN CUT INTO THE SLEEVE. I WAS PISSED. DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE SEND IT TO A REAL SHOP.

I can tell you who NOT to send it to!

Absolutely positively DO NOT let Delmar at KD Cycle (Yuma AZ) do it for you!

It will cost you top $$$, you won't get what you pay for (His port work sucks!), and you'll be lucky to get it back before this time next year ("Oh yeah, We'll have it ready in a week or two")

Just my $.02

Well, Thank you guys for the input. I have decided to send my motor to Tudors in Corona Calif. They are the only people that replied to my e-mails and seem to know a great deal about the lt500 motor. Is there anyone here who has had work done by them? If so let me know the details. Thanks

ZigZilla, I had my motor completely rebuilt by Jeff @ Tudors. (the owner/operator)
All work done (including port work) was done to perfection. I personally delivered my motor to them, so I checked out
the facility in person. It is clean and organized, and Jeff even moved his office to another location so that the machine work tools
have a place of their own. Jeff and I had an agreement. I would drop off my motor, and pick it up one month later to the day.
(long time due to complete rebuild, not just port work) top/bottom end, fix crank bearing problem, ect..) He held up his end of the bargan, and my motor was ready and waiting. Jug newly painted and all. Motor runs fantastic, couldnt be happier.

-Matt

ps. They DO know a great deal about the 500. Thats MOSTLY what they work on.
