Default z400 rear tires... don't slide as well as 400EX rear tires?

I know the Z's have the same tread pattern as the Raptor's...

I've heard several complaints that the Raptor's have with smoothly sliding the rear around...

wondered if the Z owners are experiencing the same?

Slides great. Predictable and easy to recover from.
The Raptors handling quirks are probably not caused by it tires.

The Raptor is also 2 inches narrower than a Z and sits a little higher which could cause more of a problem with the tires. Changing to a Razor or Holeshot will make a difference.

the Z runs the same sh!tty tires as the raptors. They are Dunlops (garbage) They will pop and become full of holes quick. I put pure sport bandits up front ( kevlar lined) and just recently, I put shredder four ply on the rear. Huge difference! Handles very well and easy to power slide now. The Stock dunlops grab too much and are only two ply. Yamaha and suzuki got ripped off when the signed the contract with dunlop. Change them immediately and you will be happy!!!

Dunlops and Ohatsu's are the best knobby dune tires period. I run Dunlops on my Dale in the dunes. So for us western guys the stocks tires are the best... For dirt I agree w/ the above statements...
