Default Vinson Radiator Protection

I bought the vinson about a week ago and I didn't get a winch, nor do I planon getting one. But if I don't get a winch there is a big whole in the front where the winch sits. With such a wide opening it's very easy to drive sticks up into the radiator. Anyone know how to rectify this situation?

You can cut some alum mesh (I found it at the Home Depot, it's the 1/2" stuff) and use heavy duty zip ties to secure it to the opening. Also, you can do the same where the stock radiator protection is.

Default Vinson Radiator Protection

I bought a 2002 vinson 4 weeks ago. installed a ramsey 3000 winch using a suzuki winch mounting plate. the problem is , the winch sits to close to the radiator, so i used the winch last sunday for the first time and disaster struck. when the winch was pulling, the quad rolled a little on its own, only to loosen the cable a little, so when it grabbed the cable got around the bottom mounting pin of the radiator and ripped the bottom of the radiator off. New radiator is about $560.00
