Default Front Suspension on Ozark?

Is the front suspension on the Ozark 250 harsh? Is it too stiff? Am considering buying either the Ozark or Recon and most of my riding is on rough ground but I don't do any jumping or real high speed, flat-out riding so want something that rides nice at moderate and lower speeds. Do not want something that beats up my wrists & elbows. Have had a Recon, now have a Rancher that I intend to keep, and have read all the Dirt Wheels comparisons of the Recon & Ozark. The Dirt Wheels article hinted that the Ozark front suspension might be a bit stiff. I did not dislike the Recon that I had and now the new models have more power and also an oil cooler but the deciding factor would be whichever one rides the best.
