Vinson or Kodiak
My good friend is looking to trade up to a four wheel drive quad. He is thinking about the Kodiak but I am trying to talk him into a Vinson. He is a awesome rider and he likes sportquads he just hates all the dam shifting. Any thoughts about it and have you guys had any problems with your Visons.

Vinson or Kodiak
No problems with the Vinson. I tightened up the pre-load on the shocks before riding this weekend and WOW what a difference! I waited 10 months before reading the owner's manual and they had front and rear both set on the softest setting. Adding more pre-load really helped me ride faster through the rough stuff. The Vinson handles remarkably well.

Vinson or Kodiak
Both machines are excellent choices, I went with the kodiak 450. It weighs a little over 500 pounds. Very responsive throttle, has excellent braking and handleing. Comes with selectable 2wd/4wd and locking front diff. Liquid cooled and has a high low gear with park. Cost 800.00 more then the 400cc. It also comes with a real nice digital guage. I put moose plow kit and warn winch and boy it can move some snow!If some one can point out some of the major differences between the kodiak and the vinson please let me know. I read some where the vinson won a shoot out against the competition, any one know the type of competition this was and what areas they compete these machines against each other in.I would really like to hear the facts. MY brother inlaw is interested in the vinson so i would like to give him the feed back. THANKS LOU.
