I am 18. My height is about 5'10 and my weight is about 55 kg.
I live in Dubai, UAE and so we mainly have sand/dunes/dessert. I won't be doing any "tricks," just straight out riding.
Which, in your opinion, is the better ATV for me? The 2003 Yamaha 660R Raptor or the 2003 Suzuki QuadSport Z400?
By the way, this will be my first ATV.

since your in sand get a rap the sand sucks lots of hp out of the quad and the extra 260cc along with more torque in the rap makes it a stronger quad in the dunes
and by the way a pipe in a rap gets over 10hp a pipe in a z400 gets like 4 or sumthing in other words the raptor is more detuned

Z400 is around 64 - 68mph stock.
Raptor is around 70 - 75mph stock.
Screw both of them and get you a LE Banshee j/k. It's all about personal preference and what class quad you want bro. I suggest you go ride both of them and you decide which one u feel more comfortable on because I can tell you right now that alot of peeps are gonna have very biased opinions on both quads. Why you ask well some peeps figure if its not like there quad it a pos.

Okay, I guess the 2003 Suzuki QuadSport Z400 is better for me for the following reasons:
1. The Z400 does not feel "tippy" like the Raptor.
2. Has better handling than the Raptor. And since I am totally new to ATVs, I could use one that is easy to control.
3. The Z400 has plently of power. Again, since I am new to ATVs, I don't want one that would "kill" me.

The Banshee is a 350cc 2-stroke and when modded right it will put out tons more power than a highly modded z400 or raptor. In the handleing area its kinda so so with handleing but I just bought my 03 Le Shee on Friday cause I didn't want another 4-stroke again and there's nothing that feels like a banshee. If u wanna spend the money u can make the shee have awesome handleing which im planning on doing around June/July.
