I'm having the same problems with my Z. FMF slip on, 50 main jet, power filter and snirkel removed, and it just wraps out the rev limiter way to quick! heres my solution; 15 tooth front sprocekt to lengthen out the gears not only makes the Z faster but with the add ons you dont lose any bottom end response. Alot of guys are using a 13 tooth but i dont see how you would be able to keep your foot of the shifter every two seconds. Try the 15 instead--it works!

So with the 15 tooth do you hit the rev limiter still? How does it affect hill climbing can you use 3rd or does it bump it down to 2nd gear climbs? The problem that has plagued Lanksta is when he is climbing a steep sand hill where you need to ponies to make the climb. When the rev limiter kicks in it causes him to loose momentum and loose the hill. How has the 15 tooth impacted this? Thanks.
