I am getting ready to purchase a winch for my 99 LTF 500 quadrunner.I do travel in a lot of creek beds in my area and on some of them I have to be winched up over the creek banks.I need info on which would be the best for the money and durable for as sealed for the wetness. Thanks

I've had the best luck with Warn they seem to have more power. They are also imperveous to water and mud, even work well while submerged!

The Rule is the top of the line and is designed to work under water, of course you pay dearly for that feature.

Check the archives they did a test on the winches. Might help you out.
