Got everything done, expecpt reattaching the hoses on the carb. Me and "Mr.Second to None" (Polaris Exploerer Bill)are going out today. Will let you know how it works out. I certainly want to know how your new Vampire tires work out after you try them out on some steep hills. I have tried running in low-four wheel drive, not locked. Some of the trails here are really tight, and in the summer heat, my quad did run hot on a couple of occassions. You actually have to pop the tires through the trees, up hill some times.I find if I leave the trany in high gear and four wheel, the idiot light stays out. The engine runs cooler. The bigger quads have a harder time getting through these areas but I've never seen them run hot. If I'm right, me, Bill and the rest of the guys are goin' back to Tin Cup. I'm gonna take that hill or I'll humble myself before you and Bill, then buy a set of tires.

I Have a 98, keep mine in low not super low range most of the time.
unless I'm going long distance.
Have to shift more still get 40mph in low.
When mudding try 2 gear low range..
Right from a stop. Plenty power..
