LOOKING FOR A KING QUAD?
#11
The KQ is a very reliable piece of equipment as everybody here has said. But Bill knows that I like ridin' slow and I want to be comfortable. The KQ is not that comfortable on the long rides that Bill and I take so I tend to stop and stand up often. Some times I want to tell Bill to switch with me. The Xplorer is a very nice riding machine. I've done some modifications to my quad that probably can't be justified for the practical user. And, OH YEAH! I'm the practical user... I probably will get tires since it seems, that's the only area where me and the KQ Don't get every thing done. But still bill, it's only one hill I haven't be able to climb---so far. And we're goin' back to Tin Cup in a few weeks to try it again.

Ciliberti, you're gettin' on my last nerve now! OK, I"m gonna make the hill. No question. You're gonna be there to tell me how wrong you were and to give me that second taste of VO. And everybody that's comin', bring your own road kill, I'll supply the charcoal and beer for the grill. Oh! That's charcoal for the grill and beer for us. Bill, I hope you still have those metal underwear!

Chuck, your sounding pretty cocky and confident for an ''ole fart''.Did you go out and buy new mud tires and your not saying anything to me?
''Oh how I love a BV after a long time watching my buddie fail to get to the top''

I just bought a King Quad about 2 months ago and so far I have had nothing but good luck with it! I love it... I have yet to find a better quad.
I would like to say though to the first person( I don't know who it is) that wrote back to you on your question, that it doesn't sound like a good idea to put the front end of the King against a tree to test the differential lockers. I would imagine that the front rack would end up looking like scrambled eggs when you got done spinnin the tires. (Unless, of course, there is a lot of mud under the tires).
Good luck with your KQ if you do get one, I think you will be making a good choice with the King.
Long Live the King, Baby!

I STRONGLY SUGGEST THE ARCTIC CAT 300 4X4. IT USES THE KING QUADS STYLE TRANY AND ENGINE YET RIDE MUCH BETTER.THE CAT HAS COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION WITH DOUBLE A-ARMS SO THE DON'T GO DIAGNAL WHEN THE SHOCKS WEAR, THE WAY THE KQ DOES.IT HAS GREAT TRACTION AND POWER AND I GOT MINE FOR ONLY 4800 WHICH IS 600 LESS THAN WHAT MY DEALER QUOTED ME ON FOR A KQ.GO TO THE ARCTIC CATS FORUM AND YOU WILL HEAR MOSTLY GREAT REVEIWS ON IT'S DURABILITY,POWER, AND GREAT ABILITY TO HANDLE THE WORST MUD.
