Default Plowing with a 2 wheel drive

Has anybody ever tried to plow with a 2 wheel drive. I am not looking at plowing a foot of snow just a couple of inches hear and there. I am looking at the 250 for my wife and was just wondering if a little plow would work on it. Thanks i am sure some of you guys tried this. I just don't feel like spending $5,400 for a 4x4.

My neighbor plows with a little Suzuki 160 with pretty good success. Of course he also weighs three hundred pounds, so traction is not a problem for him.
