Finding TDC
#1
Hey guys,
I have a LT500, and for the life of me I can't start it. Sometimes it will backfire, etc. The guy at the shop had it running in a few kicks, just told me to find TDC and follow it through. I know everything works right. Just bought it a few days ago. How do you find top dead center on a zilla?
HELP!!!

Shane, I think he is talking about when trying to kick it over to start it.
Kev, slowly kick it over until you feel the compression. Then, SLOWLY bring the engine around until the compression almost reaches its peak. Then kick it really hard!!! Remember, don't "kick" it but instead use your body weight and momentum to force it down.

shaneb, I was looking for what Alky siad, for starting it. Thanks though!
RaceWarrior350: Yes, they can hurt your leg and your knee (when the kickback makes it hit the handlebars) if you don't know how to start them right. I've created a post for starting 'zillas, so this one is considered "done."
Thanks
