Max pressure on my Dune Runner fronts is 10 PSI.

I know, cause I just took them to Les Scwab to repair a leak in one.

I run 2-1/2 to 3# of air in my tires at Glamis/Dumont/Pismo Beach, Calif. Only time I run more is if I'm in rocky stuff. Been going to the dunes for 25 + years and never had a problem. Take the advice of some of the others and go slow and work up to your potential, witches eyes and Razor backs will hurt you !! Like someone said "If your friends push you to go faster, there NOT your friends" We always put a good rider in the lead and tail of any group we ride with.

Good pointer on the riding Bob.

We don't usually go below 3-5 lbs for fear of breaking a bead while aggressively riding/jumping.

Bob;

Summer is the best time for me.
Feel free to get ahold of me during the summer. Also, a group of us are going to St. Anthony from June 16th through the 21st. Be cool if you could make it!

I think I should stick with the Sand, I went to El Mirage Saturday and found some rocky/rutted trails to cruise around, My Son had his EX440 and I took the Wifes NEW Ozark up there. It will climb just about anything. Everything went well until I went down this Gnarly, Steep trail with a couple of 1 foot or larger drop offs. The Son slid down it with the front tires locked up, but made it, I got 1/2 way down went over a ledge, the front end dived and the rear end tried to flip over, I saved it by being way back, almost on the rear rack, but the rear end proceeded to slide around to the left and when the tire went down the ledge it spit me off, As I landed face first in the rocks the quad flipped over and landed on top of me. Helmets/Boots/ Chest protectors are great!! The bike didn't fare so well, bent bars and some major scratches in the plastic and racks. The bike is a week old!! The Wife is P---ed!!
OH well, nothing a coupla hundred bucks won't fix. Got some Renthals and fixing that up first. At least It wasn't my KFX
