i dont' know if anyone got the new atvrider, but i went to the store today and picked it up; they had an open class sport shootout. it was very well written and very unbiased, they actually came out and said bad things about certain machines. much better than dirtwheels. anyway, the z400/kfx400 won the shoot out.

basically they said that the z400 wasn't the best at one thing, but it did everything really well. they had 3 types of riders; beginners, intermediate, pro-racers. the beginners picked z400 followed by raptor. intermediate were mixed around pretty well between z, predator, and raptor. pro liked cannibal, z, and predator. they picked the z though because they said they had problems with the predator transmission, and that the cannondale didn't have a large enough aftermarket to be competitive in the pro-class. the motocross guys were talking about how much easier and cheaper it is to turn the z into a pro-level motorcrosser. 400ex got ripped in the article, plus it broke down twice[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

The Honda's are still good machines though.
