Hi guys. Have any of you guys experianced this shift problem? Upshifting high range in 4x4. The indicator goes blank. You hear a spinning sound in the gearbox (about 2 seconds). Then some grinding (2 seconds) and then the gear engages in maybe a higher gear.
We posted about this before. But the problem has resurfaced for me. Six times in three hours. Once let a Rubicon and Rancher beat me in a drag race. The other times were just normal rideing.
I called Suzuki Customer Service. The guy on the line said that "Honestly, I have not gotten a single call about a 5-speed, yet."
My dealer wants me to drop it off so they can reproduce the problem. I have tried myself but can't get it to do it. So I doubt they will get it to do it in thier yard.
If this has happened to you. Can you drop me a post or e-mail. If you have taken it in and gotten it fixed. I would really appreciate a reply.
