seen it, jay leno used to have one. it pry dont go as fast as the say (260mph). Do a search for Team NLR. they have a turbo street hayabusa dragbike, 632hp.

 

7.97/184 mph in 1/4 mile drag..pretty impressive #s.. on the NLR turbo,

but the turbine sounds like a blast to ride Jay Leno's Garage
real cool that he put 2000 miles on it, and kind of cool that he tells that it is a diffrent riding style...

still, I'll be a little more tame..a vmax is what I want..

 

actually the fastest street bike is 7.65? at 196 (turbo honda blackbird, ken stotz and b.henson) the thing that impresses me is the hp #. the blackbird is ONLY makin 515 i do beleive. the hayabusa is almost all stock aside from the turbo and computer. i want to take a quad to boneville someday....

 

I'm talkin Top-fuel but, the current "Worlds Fastest" 1/4 mile drag bike time is held by Larry McBride at 5.89 @ 243MPH. His bike is a 1300cc 4cyl with a blower making about 1300HP.

aaronxtreme, yes you are correct on the Street Bike time. I believe it's held by Kent Stoltz??? I know it's on a Honda.

THE SPIDERMAN LARRY MCBRIDE! THE ONE AND ONLY! PURE TEAM GREEN! RYAN SCHNITZ is one of the best riders the sport has ever seen. And not to say your wrong, but there is one bike i think would out run him. Its a european peroxide rocket (not jet) bike, cant remember were i seen the pics, but the increments on one of its first passes it was on a 5.60 run at 260, very light, very dangerous, had to shut it down cus of lenght of shutdown area. hasnt ran 5.60 yet, but may someday.
