Default Ozark 250

I will be purchasing either the ozark 250 quad, or the Yamaha tt-r125 dirtbike, or the honda crf230f dirtbike, in mid July, i just wanted to know a few things about the ozark. Heres some of my background info, im 5 foot 6 inches, 130 pounds, i will be using it for trail riding, no pulling or plowing.

Is this quad strong enough for me to have fun on?
How is its low, mid, and top end? Is it peppy?
What is a good aftermarket pipe/exhaust, and do i rele need one.
What would u get out of my three choices?
And what mods do you think are necessary?
Whats your overall rating of this quad?
THX.

Hey,
Sounds like the Ozark would be good for you, its won many shootouts and has good reviews.
You get alot out of it for its relativly low price.......and it looks great ....go to the atv reviews section on this site and find the ozarks articles

I have a friend that has one and he loves it, it handles like a sport quad and for a 250 it runs like a bigger bike it has great low end and will surprise you on top end. He has had it for almost a year now with no trouble I would recommend the Ozark.

My wife has one now. The only company for the exhaust for it is Pro Circuit T4. A guy on here has it and he said he can beat a stock on by 3 bike lenghts. He said it was very restrictive. I am also putting on a twin Air filter but I am having some problems finding a jet kit for it, they have a listing but no one has it. (If any one knows where a jet kit for it is like K&N or dynojet please IM me. thank you) My wife really likes it and it does handle very well. We had it out this winter on a poker run and I put a set of V-bar chains on it and it did better than most 4 wheel drives out there. It is definitly a great little machine!

The Ozark is a Great little 250, that behaves like something bigger. As far as a Trail quad goes, with the exception of severe deep mud (The kind you need a 4X4 for), it is almost unstopable. For a guy your size, it would Rip.

i dunno what i like the most, im rele liking the ozark, if i went with the dirtbikes i think id get the yamaha 125, just because i dont rele think i need 230, and because i would feel bad spendin 3300 on a dirt bike, when i could spend the same amount for the ozark.
Im pretty sure i no that 250cc's are enough because I rode my friends timberwolf, and i no that that was more than enough power, and i just keep sayin that the bear tracker is better than the timberolf and the ozark is better than the beartracker, so i no id like the ozark.

BOTH, KFX700 Trail riding, KFX400 Dunes. The best of both worlds.
